eCommerce Manager

SUMMARY The eCommerce Manager (eCOM) will support GST's vision to build a better business through a world class digital & appointment culture.
Specifically, the eCOM position is responsible for building proactive partnerships with GST dealers related to lead handling, process mapping, tier 3 digital marketing, and digital analytics.
In addition, the eCOM is accountable for developing tools, training, or other support materials and working through the field team to drive positive change as it relates to consumer online sales and service opportunities.
This position is under the leadership of (and reports to) the Area General Manager, and will work closely with the GST Digital Operations team.
RESPONSIBILITIES Lead Handling and Appointment Culture Performance Audits and Consulting Identify lead handling opportunities and work with field team and dealers to develop/execute plans to gain operational efficiencies (emphasis on staffing, structure, & process) Identify focus dealerships, through data analysis, to make the largest impact on monthly sales performance Conduct monthly audits to uncover opportunities Consult dealerships with a focus on lead process improvement Drive positive change which results in additional sales performance within assigned dealerships Champion Appointment Culture within our organization and with our dealers; shape and develop strategy and execution of these efforts to drive efficiencies that result in a better experience for our customers Leverage available systems and platforms (including CRM, desking tools, websites, advertising platforms, 3rd party consumer portals) to improve lead handling & customer experience Digital Operations Lead execution at tier 3 level and conduct formal contacts each month with all assigned dealers.
Assess digital marketing plans and offer solutions to drive traffic and opportunities (ensure accountability within each dealership for follow-up on monthly action items).
Measure, manage, and improve the performance of a dealerships digital marketing and sales initiatives through digital storefront reviews, individual mystery shops, etc.
Enhance Dealership Sales & Service Processes thru online channels.
Drive the ideation, thinking, and experimentation of new online buying and service capabilities in order to formulate the overall GST strategy of providing a best in class car buying or service experience, to include pilot testing and implementation of Digital Retailing and/or Toyota's SmartPath Online Retailing Platform Will serve as field point person on the Toyota Digital Dealer Solutions 2.
0 (TDDS) platform and will leverage all tools within the platform to assist dealers to identify areas of opportunity as it relates to online sales & service performance Enterprise Leads Management System (ELMS) Digital Dealer Evaluation (DDE) Insight Analytics Dealer eMystery Shops Dealer Websites SmartPath Digital Purchase Process (DPP) Management Responsible for creating and/or collaborating with dealers on Digital Purchase Processes (DPP) to align with and drive dealerships appointment culture Conduct and facilitate DPP meetings to ensure effective implementation and utilization within dealerships Implement process measurements Analyze/observe performance of implemented processes Sustain process manager accountability for improvement results Collaborate with Content Development and Education Managers to identify, create, and conduct DPP training classes with dealer personnel and management Subject Matter Expertise Demonstrate a thorough understanding of digital marketing and leverage training opportunities (be a student of digital marketing and the automotive industry) Develop and share best practices to improve tier 3 digital marketing Develop proficiency in tier 3 digital marketing initiatives and build evaluation tools to assist dealers in managing process and marketing initiatives Other duties may be assigned.
Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle consumer and customer data per applicable policies and procedures.
Review and follow data privacy practices, policies, and guidelines.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience requirements:
Requires a bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience in the field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 20% of the time and on a domestic basis).
