gov/ada/r/jobs/2859528 Incumbent will lead supply analysis and sourcing plan processes for the USCA region in collaboration with the Little Rock, AR manufacturing plant, tollers, and PPG affiliates.
This position will be responsible for developing and refining supply options to cost effectively balance service and supply across PMC supply footprint.
The role will plan, organize, and lead the operations planning function for the Little Rock manufacturing facility, which includes packaging and raw material procurement, production planning, and scheduling in order to meet the requirements of service and quality, satisfying safety and environmental regulations.

Develop and execute models to set safety stock levels in a multi-echelon supply chain, monitor and adjust based on supply chain performance.
Measure inventory health and initiate actions to minimize at risk inventory and improve inventory health.

Ensure that the PMC supply chain is set up to optimize working capital (inventory) to achieve required service levels to customers.
Perform analytics on ad hoc issues and supply chain to aid in inventory replenishment and safety stock settings as well as analyzing stock vs.
made to order items.
Manage OTIF reporting.

Lead the supply review aspects of the S&OP Process with analytical support and metrics to drive improvements in visibility and performance of the process.
Develops and executes Supply Plan based on Sales & Operations Planning data, balancing customer and business requirements with operating working capital targets.

Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, Operations, Demand planning) to develop and implement operational excellence in the areas of Supply and Inventory Planning.

Lead, develop, and support team of planners and analysts in aspects of execution on overall inventory and supply chain plans.

Be fully engaged in portfolio complexity reduction and core range development and adoption.

Lead day-to-day relationships with PPG affiliate suppliers and external contract manufacturers (tollers).
Work with purchasing to manage the strategic and commercial aspects of vendor relationships for purchased finished goods, raw materials, and packaging.

Oversee purchasing raw materials (including containers and labels) in a timely fashion and at the lowest possible cost.
Manages the Little Rock plant raw material inventory to minimize investment while not impacting manufacturing efficiency.

Lead Global Marine supply chain from end to end for USCA supply, and manage the supply chain for Military Sealift Command (MSC) which includes; working with supply sources, setting stock levels and parameters, measure performance, and execute actions where needed to achieve high service levels with the optimum inventory levels.

Leads the implementation of the PMC Recoverable Assets policy.
Optimize outlets for SLOB or excess inventory in conjunction with current production plans.

Ensure adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, standards and policies.

Maintains ISO certification by complying with all documentation and operational requirements, ensuring continuous improvement in the area if responsibility.
College education and at least 8 years experience in an analytical or operations supply chain role.
Computer skills including MS Office Suite, SAP, and ERP reporting.
Good organizational skills as well as good written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
Ability to supervise a small team and apply sound judgment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
