The incumbent in this position must have the ability to perform the following duties on a rotating basis and as assigned:
Recognize the importance of customer service and assure foods are served in a timely manner, coordinated with appropriate patient care. Provide patient care/support that is appropriate tot he cognitive, physical, and emotional needs of the patient group served. Work with other higher graded employees to assure that all patient meal areas are staffed and meal service standards are met. Use skill and dexterity in operating equipment and handling cooking tools safely. Utilize knowledge of sanitation principles to safeguard food against spoilage and waste, such as temperature range where the potential of bacterial growth in food is greatest. Work safely and accident-free in highly hazardous food preparation and service institutional kitchens. Practice safe food-handling techniques . Maintain proper temperature of food items, and properly annotates all stored foods. Assemble coffee, tea and other beverages according to established procedure and current patient census. Assemble ingredients and prepare salads/sandwiches/desserts following standardized recipes. Communicate with coworkers to insure correct foods are placed on trays. Complete meal service, to include cleaning work station. Sets up assigned station with all needed food items according to menu, special orders and supply items. Work Schedule:

Experience:
A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality of your ability to do the work of this position. Evidence which demonstrates you possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of this position must be supported by detailed descriptions of such on your resume. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift and/or carry patient trays, food containers, subsistence, and supplies being placed into storage or for use in serving areas. Frequently lifts or moves objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time. Work requires continuous standing, walking, and bending. Must be able to remain alert at all times while performing assigned duties in order to avoid mistakes and/or accidental injury to self or others.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
