Seeking a CNC Programmer WCCNCP
Our Client Company is one of the largest large-diameter line pipe companies in the world, manufacturing and supplying some of the most critical pipelines around the globe. Please submit your updated resume if you believe you may have the qualifications and experience I am seeking to fulfill their CNC Programmer position Little Rock, AR.
The CNC programmer writes code to automate power-driven machines that cut and finish metal, wood or plastic such as lathes, grinders and mills. He or she creates instructions for machinists, reviews 3D CAD design blueprints, makes calculations for programming, including where materials should be cut, and translates instructions into a computer-automated manufacturing (CAM) program. Importantly, the CNC programmer communicates with engineers and clients who will use the programs, and checks completed programs by running simulations or tests.
Requirements:
(Note: Only candidates with the following qualifications will be considered.)
Superior coding skills (with CNC machines) that include the ability to write codes on the spot
G-code experience
Okuma CNC machine experience (desired, but not required)
Excellent reading comprehension skills
Good math skills, especially algebra, trigonometry and physics
Excellent time management, organizational and planning skills
Knowledge of metal shop work
Ability to write and read complex spreadsheets and blueprints
Knowledge of safety measures pertinent to each job assignment
Effective written and verbal communication skills
