Maintenance Technician - Residential Apartments
GPAC is working with laeading property management company dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for our residents. We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism in all aspects of our operations. Currently, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Little Rock, AR.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our properties in Bloomington, IN. This position requires a proactive individual with their own vechile and tools, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing market-ready apartments and apartment upgrades to ensure they meet our high-quality standards.
- Handling both emergency and non-emergency service requests promptly and efficiently.
- Conducting various maintenance activities, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, some HVAC, and general repairs.
- Exhibiting good judgment, discretion, and initiative in resolving maintenance issues and prioritizing tasks.
- Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and residents to coordinate work and ensure smooth operations.
- Completing maintenance requests accurately and following up as necessary to ensure resident satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience, preferably in a residential or multifamily housing setting
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance repairs
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits:
- Hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
