NOC Engineer

As a NOC Engineer, you will work independently and collaboratively within the Network Operations Center to monitor, analyze, and respond to infrastructure interruptions and threats. In this role, you will utilize troubleshooting skills to pinpoint root cause as well as assist in developing remediation strategies.Key Responsibilities Serve as initial point of contact for all network issues and tickets Respond to and troubleshoot network alerts and outages Perform basic networking functions and troubleshooting. Gather initial data for network issues before assigning and escalating within the network team Determine baseline performance metrics and report on any data that falls outside of the baselines to the network team Monitor logs and reports to identify potential issues Maintain records of network monitoring and incident response activities; track ongoing issues Propose changes and/or improvements to the processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency, provide better service, decrease incident response times, etc. Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and produce accurate and detailed work Respond to issues outside normal business hours, as needed to accomplish work objectives Remain up to date with emerging technologies, best practices, and methods in networking and IT Security Demonstrate effective time management, decision making, and problem-solving skills Enthusiastically embrace, support, and model the Bank's values and mission Ensure compliance with internal/external regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines Job Expectations:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
