and supporting data resources, as well as coordination of internal communications and work flow of relevant data pertaining to new products, engineering documents, product retirement, and Operations, including Industrial Engineering.
In managing and performing these duties, the Data Management Specialist will plan and execute policies, practices, and projects that acquire, control, protect, deliver, and enhance the value of data and information assets.
The Data Management Specialist will assist the Product Management and Order Management Teams in various technical and administrative tasks.
Some of the duties include database management, quoting template maintenance, and to assist the Product Management and Order Management Teams with the activities of Sales/Marketing, Engineering, and Inventory Control/Distribution to allow the company to provide the market with end-user specific products in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key
Responsibilities:
Coordinate updates of data and document control changes to relevant systems and databases.
Create and manage new parts in the core database.
Regularly checks the completeness and accuracy of existing data.
Creates work flow and procedural instructions for data management.
Supports multiple departments with information to assist with business analysis.
Communicates regularly with the Global Data Management team.
Researches and develops effective tools to implement data processes.
Create and maintain instructional Power Points and documents of job function.
May serve on various teams throughout the organization.
Complete all assigned projects (spread sheets, monthly reports, etc.
) as directed by the Director of Product Management and/or Product Managers.
Obtain information from suppliers, customers etc.
as requested.
Compose own correspondence and handle calls of a routine nature independently.
Complete sales quotes as directed by Product Management.
Assist with product integration, launches, and changes throughout product life cycle.
Maintain corporate databases for product specifications.
Communicate with internal departments such as Purchasing, Operations, Innovation, and Research & Development to identify inconsistencies and present product solutions.
Assist Product Managers with monitoring internal process for efficiency and validity pre and/or post product launch and product changes.

Exposure to machine noise.
Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production area.
Working conditions are normal for a high volume manufacturing environment.
Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds and working in and around heavy equipment.
Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots.
This role may require walking in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
