Job DescriptionMcGeorge Contracting Company is looking for a dynamic person to join the firm as a Safety and HR coordinator for our Heavy Civil Highway Division office in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The ideal candidate will help ensure that McGeorge promotes a culture where people and safety are a priority in the workplace.
Primary responsibilities will be preparing and processing new hire paperwork along with conducting new hire orientation.
Managing the drug and background screening process.
Data entry on all task training and certifications.
Assist team members and management personnel on the interpretation of personnel policies, programs, and procedures.
Assist with employee benefits communication.
Prepare and conduct safety training sessions, documenting employee participation.
Responsible for OSHA record-keeping and Workers Compensation incidents and reports.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a construction, safety, or HR related field or equivalent to.
3
years of experience in construction safety and/or human resources.
Must have strong relationship management skills with the ability to train, influence and motivate team members.
Capable of maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in difficult situations Demonstrated written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
Knowledge of OSHA and MSHA standards with regard to construction is a plus.
Must be willing to travel on occasion.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
