YOUR OPPORTUNITY:
Metova's engineering team is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect (SalesForce) in collaboration with a Metova Partner in the healthcare industry.
We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated, collaborative, and technical, with the passion to help shape the delivery of software products for customers.
This is a six month contract with opportunity for extension or full time role.
The Solutions Architect is responsible for evaluating business needs and to translate those into technology solutions by publishing contextual and conceptual architectures that are aligned with the Enterprise Architecture target blueprint and roadmap.
These solutions and conceptual architectures are at the sufficiently-detailed level needed to ensure the delivery teams are successful in their execution.
The incumbent brings alignment, awareness and understanding among IT and Business teams to deliver IT solutions to solve the business problems, and acts as a liaison and collaborates with the business and functional stakeholders to identify and deliver strategic enablement solutions.
Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, and implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives and improves performance.
This role may be filled by applicants in the following states:
Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Acts as the enabler of the Enterprise Architecture blueprint and roadmaps within the Information Systems division, and translates high-level strategy into solutions that are aligned with that strategy and architectural standards.
Works across functional teams both within IS and beyond to define and align on the supporting solution blueprints and roadmaps, driving consistency and harmonization across the technology ecosystem Acts as the 'problem solver' for those areas that in the execution of the solution roadmap run into technical and architectural challenges.
The incumbent will engage as needed and leverage their skills, experience, and relationships inside or outside of ABCBS to help remove barriers to execution Collaborates across different organizational units including the core Information Systems, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure & Operations and Enterprise Information Systems teams along with various domain specific business organizations Collaborates with internal and external technology leaders to enhance the innovative potential of the business Defines and drives a cloud-based integration product roadmap in alignment with the broader enterprise ecosystem platform vision and defines and architects an enterprise hyper-integration hub that simplifies and accelerates the delivery of new data/application integration channels for ABCBS and its associated partners Identifies and documents integration reference architectures that provide recommended integration patterns for partner integrations in support of the advancing ABCBS technology ecosystem Identifies innovation trends and business opportunities within the healthcare industry Manages idea generation and screening, conceptual development, and testing of new solution ideas/enhancements through research initiatives and prototyping Meets with stakeholders internally and thought leaders across the world to identify areas of innovations and growth Serves as an Information Systems representative to customers, stakeholders, partners, and executives Acts as a change agent within the company and serves as an architectural expert for the enterprise's applications and integration points Serves as a trusted advisor to the Vice President IS, his directs and other executive leadership in the formation of and the routine refinement of a comprehensive long-term innovation strategy for the company YOUR
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field required.
Master's degree preferredLICENSING/CERTIFICATION:
SAFe, ITIL, or TOGAF certifications preferred.
Minimum three (3) Salesforce certifications equivalent to following:
Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder
Experience:
Minimum seven (7) years' Enterprise solution architecture, technical systems architecture and design (applications, infrastructure and data).
If Master's degree, minimum five (5) years' related experience Minimum seven (7) years' progressive experience leading continuous improvement efforts, evaluating existing systems and implementing process improvements.
If Master's degree, minimum five (5) years' related experience Minimum three (3) years' experience in cloud-based technologies, including experience with platform technologies (such as Salesforce) and CCaaS platforms required Minimum two (2) years' experience in Product taxonomy and working in a Product-oriented environment In-depth knowledge of Cloud-native technologies and Edge computing In-depth knowledge of Business, Data, Technology, Security and Information Systems architecture, including MASA (Mesh app & service architecture), microservices and event-driven architecture Expert-level knowledge of various backend development languages like Java, C#, Asp.
net, Angular or other national-leading development languages Expert-level knowledge of various database technologies like Azure Data Bricks, Snowflake, SQL Server, MongoDB, DB2, Oracle or other national-leading DBM.
Expert knowledge of event driven architecture and enabling technologies including Kafka Expert-level knowledge of various frontend web development languages like JavaScript, HTML and CSS Expert-level knowledge of various aspects of a technology architecture including integration, networking and security Expert-level knowledge of financial funding models and budgeting Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (including Scaled agile software development/SAFe, DevSecOps and rapid prototyping) Understanding and knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Knowledge of different architectural modeling tools (such as UML and ArchiMate), including the creation and maintenance of architectural artifacts Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes Excellent understanding of application development methodologies as well as infrastructure and network architecture Excellent analytical, planning, organizational and technical skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS Conduct research into ABCBS use of Salesforce, producing a report of findings with recommended steps and a roadmap for Salesforce solutions Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements Experience with release management, source control, and deployment technologies such as CI/CD pipelines, Metadata API, and integration services Experience with cross-cloud Salesforce (SFDC) implementations integrated with other cloud and on-premise systems Experience on leading Salesforce Center of Excellence activities, Operating and Governance Model Awareness of SFDC platform-specific design considerations such as large data volumes, allocation limits, and data migration Own the design of ABCBS Salesforce Ecosystem and (optionally) other affiliated solutions for Sales, Service, and platform solutions Strong experience with configuration, customization, programming with APEX APIs, APEX Triggers, and implementing new instances of Salesforce.
