Duties Enforce all local and national policies pertaining to recruitment efforts.
Mentor and train recruiters on the use of the Recruiter Zone (RZ).
Responsible for primary submission of Tech check and National Agency Check with Law and Credit (NACLC) on all applicants processing for enlistment.
Manage the day-to-day operations at one of 65 Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS).
Recommend procedures to process military actions.
Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

Specialized
Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes conducting detailed regulatory review and provide federal oversight of military personnel records to ensure accuracy; verifying enlistment eligibility in accordance with appropriate regulations, e.
g.
Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Security Clearance and Medical Requirements; and ensuring applicant recruiting requirements are met prior to processing enlistment actions.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OREducation:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.

Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.

Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18.
