Solutions Architect Senior
Duties:
The Solutions Architect is responsible for evaluating ABCBS business needs and to translate those into technology solutions by publishing contextual and conceptual architectures that are aligned with the Enterprise Architecture target blueprint and roadmap.
These solutions and conceptual architectures are at the sufficiently-detailed level needed to ensure the delivery teams are successful in their execution.
The incumbent brings alignment, awareness and understanding among IT and Business teams to deliver IT solutions to solve the business problems, and acts as a liaison and collaborates with the business and functional stakeholders to identify and deliver strategic enablement solutions.
Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, and implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance.
Experience:
Minimum seven (7) years' Enterprise solution architecture, technical systems architecture and design(applications, infrastructure and data).
If Master's degree, minimum five (5) years' related experience.
Minimum seven (7) years' progressive experience leading continuous improvement efforts, evaluating existing systems and implementing process improvements.
If Master's degree, minimum five (5) years' related experience.
Minimum three (3) years' experience in cloud-based technologies, including experience with platform technologies (such as Salesforce) and CCaaS platforms required.
Minimum two (2) years' leadership experience in driving Agile teams required.
SAFe experience preferred.
Minimum two (2) years' experience in Product taxonomy and working in a Product-oriented environment.
In-depth knowledge of Cloud-native technologies and Edge computing.
In-depth knowledge of Business, Data, Technology, Security and Information Systems architecture, including MASA (Mesh app & service architecture), microservices and event-driven architecture.
Expert-level knowledge of various backend development languages like Java, C#, Asp.
net, Angular or other national-leading development languages.
Expert-level knowledge of various database technologies like Azure Data Bricks, Snowflake, SQL Server, MongoDB, DB2, Oracle or other national-leading DBMS.
Expert knowledge of event driven architecture and enabling technologies including Kafka.
Expert-level knowledge of various frontend web development languages like JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
Expert-level knowledge of various aspects of a technology architecture including integration, networking and security Expert-level knowledge of financial funding models and budgeting Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (including Scaled agile software development/SAFe, DevSecOps and rapid prototyping).
