8K a year 7 days ago 7 days ago 7 days ago GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Serves as Goodwill's first point of contact for corporate office visitors and callers.
Responsible for answering/routing all incoming calls, greeting visitors, and referring to appropriate staff or department in a friendly and professional manner.
Ensures employee, visitor and facility situations are appropriately and promptly addressed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Answer phones in a timely manner.
Route calls to appropriate personnel.
Screen calls for CEO, CFO, VP's and Directors.
Communicate with visitors/guests with diplomacy and tact remaining professional at all times.
This duty is performed daily, about 50% of the time.
2.
Greet visitors/guests, ascertain business, direct to proper location/personnel.
Communicate with visitors/guests with diplomacy and tact remaining professional at all times and firm when necessary.
This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time.
3.
Prepare documents and reports (Word & Excel) as directed.
This duty is performed daily, about 15% of the time.

4.
Maintain employee in/out log; maintain visitor sign-in log; issue visitor badges for the location assigned.
This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.
5.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned to include sign for deliveries and inform recipient; hand address employee Birthday Cards monthly for Executive signature and prepare for mailing.
This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.
6.
Coordinates scheduling for back-up switchboard relief; advises supervisor concerning scheduling conflicts and assistance required.
This duty is performed as needed.
7.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.
g.
data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc, plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid Driver's License PUBLIC CONTACT Frequent contacts with general public, patrons, or other outside representatives, wherein the manner of handling these contacts has a bearing on the organization's position and operation.
EMPLOYEE CONTACT Contacts occasionally with others beyond immediate associates, but generally of a routine nature.
May obtain, present or discuss data, but only as pertains to an immediate and specific assignment.

USE OF MACHINES, EQUIPMENT AND/OR COMPUTERS Occasional use of complex machines and equipment (desktop/laptop computer and software, road and production machines and equipment, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
