Summary of Job Duties:
The Research Informatics Analyst II operationalizes data management processes for scientific research and clinical research projects.
Operational duties are to use technical skills such as coding and report writing to perform data processing; system development, validation, and implementation; report identification; and mitigation of project risks.
Participates in the creation and maintenance of research study forms and maintains study form instructions and medical record abstraction guidelines.
Creates basic logical data models and workflow diagrams.
Maintains standardized data management documentation.
Develops data screens, error checks and workflows in proprietary and open-source data systems.
Maintains functional specifications of data systems.
Performs functional usability testing.
Runs and distributes pre-built reports.
The level II position monitors data and workflow processes to mitigate project risks and communicates issues to management and also represents the data management team in project related meetings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in biomedical informatics, computer science or science-related area.
Two (2) years of experience working with data or in a biomedical informatics field.
Additional Information:
SQL programming, analytical skills, ability to use data and process modeling, knowledge of form design, database design and workflow development.
Ability to perform system testing.
Ability to validate and evaluate information systems.
Knowledge of information system implementation processes and change control.
Ability to effectively draft and maintain process documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
