SSVF is a VA grant-funded program serving Veteran Families experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness.
We work with these households to assess their barriers to housing and coordinate services with the goal of obtaining and maintaining permanent housing.

Seeking 1 candidate for the role of SSVF Case Manager in our Little Rock, AR office.
Bachelor's Degree required in Social Work or related field.
MSW Preferred.
Relevant professional experience (i.
e.
, social work, social services, human services, etc.
) will be considered in lieu of degree in desired field(s).
Nongermane degrees without relevant experience will not be considered.
What you will do:
Conduct intake/eligibility assessment with prospective clients Assess client needs and make appropriate referrals Assess client barriers to housing Work with clients on goal setting Develop action plans to reach clients' individualized goals Monitor client progress toward goals Troubleshoot barriers in case plan Resolve crises/conflicts with landlords, family/friends, etc.
Connect clients to support networks as needed Complete thorough case notes in timely manner Ensure proper documentation for all financial assistance requests Conduct outreach efforts in the community Develop/maintain network of resources to meet client needs Who you are:

Experience in social services/human services work REQUIRED.
Experience working with Veterans and/or the homeless preferred.
Knowledge of diversion strategies/ planning preferred.
Knowledge of rental market and social service landscape preferred.
