The position will play a key role in investment securities accounting, wholesale funding operations, and internal and external financial reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform investment accounting for the securities portfolio and assist with public deposit pledging Assist with maintenance and accounting for wholesale funding relationships Maintain documentation related to accounting, funds management, and safekeeping Assist with daily cash management Prepare financial data and risk metrics for presentation to management Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience BS/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, and 2
years' work-related experience and / or training preferred.
Knowledgeable in fixed-income investment securities Good understanding of financial statements and accounting Ability to successfully plan, develop, lead, and execute projects Strong communications skills, both written and verbal Ability to manage competing priorities effectively, making good decisions based on business priorities and objectives Computer SkillsAdvanced Excel skills and proficiency with PowerBI, SQL, PowerPoint, and Word are required.
Experience with investment accounting software is preferred.
