Senior Front-End Developer (React) at By Light Professional IT Services in Remote
Overview By Light is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join a fully-distributed Agile team of 10 to 12 developers. The Senior Front-End Developer will work on a software development and Cloud engineering team taking on premises application solution and migrating into the cloud performing code rework. Software development responsibilities include:
requirements gathering, requirements analysis, architecture and design, coding, testing and validation, and research. Responsibilities Determine the level of effort and time required to resolve assigned tasks and design requirements. Analyze requirements and design architecture to support training platform Develop features to integrate into platform using best practice coding conventions Work on sprint team in agile, rapid development and deployment environment Write maintainable Unit Tests Communicate status to team lead / project oversight Required Experience/Qualifications At least 5 years of experience with React. Strong knowledge of Node.js (JavaScript) Preferred Experience/Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Knowledge of Authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Token (JWT). Expertise with source code management (GIT, Bitbucket, Perforce, SVN). Experience with Flux or Redux. Experience with Babel Webpack and NPM also required.
